Pull up a seat! Welcome to my world of beauty and business, through the intersection of both, thus Beauty PR.
How it all started? Great question! What started an out-of-the-country summer internship turned into putting my technology skills and my passion for beauty together.
Before returning home for my senior year of college, I was offered and accepted a marketing contractor role. This role would see me through getting my degree, moving to Chicago, accepting a full-time corporate role. February of 2020 was when I decided to leave my corporate role and pursue full time entrepreneurship.
While I started as a jack of all trades (think websites, design and email marketing) I saw that there are tons of beauty brands that I knew I could help. My ick is when men are ultimately the who profit off women's beauty products, it feels icky. So my ultimate goal is to help women owned brands step into their power by creating a community of raving brand fans who authentically want to post about your products.
I am based in Chicago, IL with relocation on the horizon... salty seas and ocean breeze are calling my name. If I'm not raving to you about the newest beauty products (right now I am eyeing the new Ouai Hair Serum) or about which founders are just *next level* (cough cough Jen, Marianna & Lauren, Emily, & Laney) then maybe we are swapping stories of Colorado visits, my home state, or about basketball games in Lawrence, KS, where I went to school.
If not about beauty, business, beauty founders, Chicago, Denver, or Lawrence, we are probably talking about human rights, NCIS, possibly about Chipotle or McDonald’s (toss up) or potentially about Lea Michelle's standing ovation during a matinee performance on a Saturday, or hopefully I am getting some beauty sleep.
